BLUE ZONES
are home to the highest # of centenarians (100 years old) in the world marked by a blue dot by a paramount researcher.  Most of the attributes of these populations stood out by their lifestyle and environment.

 

  • Move Naturally: active including walking for errands, dancing, gardening

  • Purpose: knowing your “why”

  • Down Shift: release stress

  • 80% Rule: stop eating when stomach is 80% full

  • Plant Slant: blue zone populations eat on average <5% meat and 95% plants, wholesome foods

  • Right Tribe: surrounding yourself with a healthy social circle

  • Loved Ones First: prioritize family first
